Ecommerce Customer Service Assistant 

Job Description 

We are currently on the lookout for an Ecommerce Customer Service Assistant to join our online team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the fashion industry - across a variety of area's with the e-commerce process and customer journey whilst growing with an exciting, fast-paced and developing company. 

This is a varied role which should keep you constantly engaged. You'll be involved with key areas of the online business, across stock, customer service, and dispatch. 

You'll process customer orders from placement to picking product, packing parcels and sending with external delivery services. You'll assist customers over the phone, via email, and on our live chat service, answering their questions about our amazing range, styling, purchasing and delivery queries. 

You'll also be involved in our stock process, from checking off deliveries to implementing stockroom plans, you’ll quickly learn about the product lifecycle and the importance of sticking to deadlines.

Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/attributes: 

  • Good English language, writing & communication skills 

  • A charming telephone manner 

  • Enthusiasm for generating phone sales 

  • Competence using Microsoft Outlook & Excel 

  • Previous experience in a customer facing environment 

  • Attention to detail & accuracy 

  • Ability to switch between disciplines and change focus based on business needs 

  • A love of fashion

Additional information: 

This role would particularly suit someone at an early stage in their career who is keen to develop their skills within a dynamic, customer-focused environment. Due to the nature of the role, candidates based within a reasonable commuting distance of Stratford-upon-Avon would be critical.  Full training will be provided. We are looking to recruit either a part time or full-time role, which includes some weekend work. 

Salary: £8.00 - £12.75 per hour (subject to age and experience)
