To celebrate 41 years of Gemini Woman, we wanted to mark the occasion with something extra special. As part of our birthday celebrations, we gave one lucky customer the chance to win the ultimate Gemini experience: a £100 Gemini Woman gift card, a goody bag, a personal styling session and a photoshoot.

We were delighted to welcome our winner, Diane, into store for her prize and a day of fashion, styling and a little well-deserved pampering.

Diane’s Personal Styling Session

Before her visit, Diane sent us a list of pieces and styles that had caught her eye. This gave Liz the chance to hand-pick a selection ready for her arrival, while also choosing a few pieces she thought Diane might love.

It didn't take long for Amazing Woman to become a firm favourite. Diane fell in love with a pair of white culottes, two cropped cardigans, two of the fine-knit Jodie jumpers and the black linen Marilyn top.

One of the best things about a personal styling session is discovering pieces you may not have considered when shopping on your own. With Liz on hand to suggest different combinations, fits and styles, Diane was able to try something new while still finding clothes that felt completely like her.

As Diane told us:

“Liz was brilliant throughout the styling session. She was more than happy to keep bringing me different things to try and, most importantly, gave me really helpful and honest advice about what suited me and what worked well together.”

She added:

“I came away with some lovely pieces that I probably wouldn’t have chosen without her help.”

Time for the Photoshoot

Once Diane had found her favourite looks, it was time to step in front of the camera for her photoshoot. It was the perfect way to capture some of her newly styled outfits and finish off her Gemini Woman experience.

Diane gave the whole day a 10/10, saying:

“It was such a lovely experience from start to finish. Liz and Claire were both so friendly, helpful and really knowledgeable about all the different brands and pieces.”

A Few Extra Treats

Of course, no birthday celebration would be complete without a few surprises. Diane also took home a special Gemini goody bag filled with treats, including Chalk socks and a Masai bag and scarf.

“The Chalk socks and the Masai bag and scarf are gorgeous — such a lovely surprise,” Diane said.

Our 41st birthday was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate not only Gemini Woman, but the customers who have supported us over the years.

A huge thank you to Diane for joining us and allowing us to share her experience. We loved welcoming her into store, helping her discover some new wardrobe favourites and seeing her enjoy her prize.
