Mothers Day is the day to celebrate the person you look up to, who brought you up, and who deserves some praise! No matter how you are choosing to celebrate Mothers Day this year, let's make sure we show appreciation, whether that's for your Mum, Grandmother, Friends who are Mums, or even you if you're a Mum yourself. Most of us sadly missed out on being able to visit family last Mothers Day due to a lockdown, but we think that is going to make this Mothers Day even more special!

We asked our team to spare a few words on what makes their Mother/Daughter relationship so special, and here are the responses we got!

Alice- 
"I love being able to head out to the shops with my Mum to compare fashion advice which I know she will always be honest about! It's a funny thought having someone in my life who has known me my whole life and who I know will always put my best interests at heart. Mothers Day is important to me so I can show my Mum how important my Sister and I think she is, and how much we appreciate everything she does for us."

Becky- 
“My Mum is my best friend, we talk almost everyday and love nothing more than a girly shopping trip with a glass of prosecco at lunch!”

"I wouldn't change my mum for anything! We love going for walks together with the dog as well as fighting over each other's clothes 😂"

Chloe-
"My Mum is my inspiration, we love doing puzzles together over a cuppa and packet of rich tea biscuits, as well as watching the bird life in our garden! She is always there for me and I know will always support my dreams"

"My Mum has taught me many skills over the years including flower arranging, which is her business! As an independent business owner, she inspires me everyday to be the best that I can be. She makes the most beautiful flower arrangements too over on 'The Flower Tower Florist'."
 

A classic way to celebrate is simply by heading out for brunch and treating your Mum to a well-deserved coffee or two! Our favourite spots for Sunday brunch here in Stratford-upon-Avon are Huffkins, MOR Bakery, Arcle, and Bonds Lifestyle.
