Founded in 1962, Sorel combines expert craftsmanship and incorporates current trends to design and create footwear appropriate for all seasons. Beginning many years ago with boots made to protect in construction work, the company is now one that is dedicated to both functionality and fashion. 

Sorel believes that you are your most powerful tool, and with the correct, reliable footwear, you are an unstoppable force. They challenge the norm by creating footwear that is out of the ordinary, that pushes the boundary of function-first fashion.

Sorel seeks to make eco-considerate choices in product creation, considering the spectrum of product life, the material choices, the packaging products are shipped in, and the resources and mechanisms used to create those products.

In 2021, 84% of all Sorel styles included at least one eco-conscious element. These elements range from a large list of sustainable considerations including but not limited to:

- Animal welfare.

- Greenhouse gas emissions (reduced).

- Waste (less waste created).

-Chemicals (reduced chemical impact).
