'Summer sales always coincide with good weather so I was delighted to have been able to take refuge in your shop yesterday for a couple of hours whilst my wife browsed through your 70% off items. The offer was clearly working as I was amazed at just how much stock was sold in that time. But it wasn't just the offer that ensured the success of the sale, and at the end of the shopping marathon I had to tell you just how professional and customer-focused I thought all your staff were. You were well-informed about the clothes you were selling, incredibly helpful, energetic and managed to smile the whole time however challenging a particular customer might have been. Your customer service was so much better than every other shop we visited yesterday. I always tell my staff that they must treat customers in exactly the same way as they would be expected to be treated if they were a customer - and that is so obviously what you were doing yesterday.
