STOCK ROOM SUPERVISOR

Contract: Part Time (minimum of 3 days per week)

Salary: £6.50 p.h

Location details: Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To maximise profitability of the store through the provision of an operationally efficient and effective process driven stock room whilst taking into consideration the Gemini Woman brand and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Stock management

Ensures all deliveries are processed and productivity targets are adhered to

Organises and supervises the movement of stock in and out of the stockroom to facilitate accurate replenishment

Ensures all garments are labelled and size cubed where appropriate and stored in the correct place

Develops and maintains a high level of product knowledge

Ensures management are kept up-to-date with all issues regarding the stockroom and the movement of stock

Recommends changes to management to improve the way the stockroom operates

Maintains and demonstrates security and health and safety awareness

Raises awareness of, and controlling stock loss within their area

Working as Part of a Team

Supports and helps colleagues with their work, getting involved with Company initiatives as and when required

Shows a genuine interest in other people and want to help

Uses initiative at all times

Has the ability and willingness to acquire job related knowledge through self development and by learning from others

Demonstrates flexibility in order to meet store needs and key events e.g. sale, peak trading periods

Carries out additional activities in order to meet store demands i.e. working on sales floor if required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

Flexible approach to working hours i.e. able to work reasonable additional hours, public holidays and Sunday in line with the needs of the business.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

Previous experience in stockroom environment. Previous responsibility for replenishment and stock control. GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHER

Contract: Permanent

Location Details: Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To develop, manage and administer the production and editing of all website photography as well as carrying out essential admin tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Photography and Design

Producing high quality images, ensuring they are correctly exposed and colour consistent.

Edit digital photographic images whilst maintaining file size specification guidelines and ensuring colour consistency between images.

Accurately archiving images to be easily accessed by other members of the team.

Ensuring all images are ready in advance of online sales.

Responsible for care and upkeep of all studio equipment, props and supplies. As well as championing new photographic equipment to invest in.

Meeting daily and weekly deadlines to prepare for new website content.

Innovation of new photography ideas and shoots, independently organising and carrying out these shoots.

Admin

Assist in the picking and packing and tracking of customer orders.

Respond to customer emails and phone enquiries efficiently and in an appropriate manner.

Constantly reviewing website - looking to see if there are any alterations or updates that need to be made.

Involved in ebay photography

Support the management and development of the Gemini Woman team and motivate them to reach sales and performance targets.

Support the Retail sales team during busy sales periods balancing against website requirements.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate preferred

Mac & PC literate

Proven experience with digital cameras, software with excellent lighting skills

Proficient in Photoshop and Capture One (Capture One not essential)

Excellent photographic/technical understanding

Strong understanding of image colour correction

Ability to work well within a small team working well under pressure with a flexible attitude.

Organised and detail orientated.

Highly self-motivated.
