Chalk Styling

Chalk is the go-to brand for high-quality basic pieces that will go with everything. From t-shirts to lovely knits and loungewear, every piece is versatile and can be worn in multiple ways. In this blog, Gemini Woman will suggest some ways to style your Chalk pieces in different ways for different occasions!

The Vicki jumper is a classic Chalk piece that can be styled in multiple ways from running errands to lounging at home! We have styled the jumper layered over the Fleur stripe t-shirt with some white Robell jeans. Since the Vicki jumper has short sleeves, it is great to layer with whilst it is colder but then it is a great knit to wear alone as it gets warmer! The ribbing is a lovely detail that is trendy year in year out and lasts well.

Stripes

Classic navy and white striped pieces are part of the signature Chalk look. Some new pieces for this Spring are the Nadine Jersey Trouser and the Ivy Stripe dress. A basic top or knit would work well with the trousers, since they are printed it is better to go simple on top. We have layered the Lulu sweatshirt and a white shirt with the trousers for a casual chic look. The Ivy stripe dress is the perfect casual dress for Spring and Summer, and it would be great on holiday with some sandals. Alternatively, why not pair it with leggings and a long cardigan such as the Purdy cardigan from Amazing Woman? Lastly, we love the stripe t-shirts styled alone with a nice pair of trousers for the ultimate Parisian chic look. We have styled the Fleur t-shirt with the Masai Prisca Trouser and a scarf as a bag accessory.

Showing the versatility of Chalk stripe t-shirts, we have styled the Daisy jumpsuit layered over the Bryony stripe top. The cord jumpsuit alone looks lovely, but to make it more casual and weather appropriate the long-sleeved stripe top works well. Alternatively, the Daisy jumpsuit is a great throw-on piece alone, with trainers or sandals.

Linen

Chalk linen feels so breathable and comfortable for the warmer days ahead, and today we have styled the Iris Linen Dress with the Sam knitted shawl. With Chalk having such a small colour palette, all the pieces can be worn together well, and each dress has a shawl that drapes over top nicely. The shawl is the perfect piece for evenings on holiday where it can get chilly, but it won’t take up too much room in your suitcase! The linen two-piece is also a versatile co-ord that can be worn together or alone to create multiple looks! We love the Polly linen pant and Sophie linen shirt together; however, the pants would also look great with a plain t-shirt for more casual days, and the shirt would look great with the Nadine jersey trouser.

Slogan and motif tees

Chalk have so many nice slogan tees, for Christmas, Mother’s Day and even international days such as International Women’s Day (which is 8th March 2023!). They also have motif t-shirts with stars or love hearts. We would always style our t-shirts with either loungewear for lazy days, such as the Lucy lounge pant, or with a classic pair of Robell jeans and trainers for a casual day out! Amazing Woman knits are always good to layer with the t-shirts as well.
